Dr. Kavanagh earned his degree of Optometry at the University of CA at Berkeley with high honors and has been examining patients in the Bay Area for more than twenty years. Dr. Kavanagh excels in all aspects of vision care, but has particular interests in contact lenses, computer vision related stress, and laser vision correction. The readers of the Milpitas Post have twice recognized Dr. Kavanagh as the Best Optometrist in their community.  Dr. Kavanagh is a member of the California and American Optometric Associations and serves as the President for the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling with his wife and two children.
