Get The Optical Coherence Tomography During your Eye Exam
Revolutionizing the way eye doctors can look at eyes, the OCT provides detailed views of different eye layers and angles in high resolution. This non-invasive, non-contact diagnostic procedure is similar to an ultrasound but uses light instead of sound. The OCT scans cross-sections of the eye to map the precise location of a retinal problem. We use this to screen, detect, diagnose and to monitor several retinal conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, etc.
“It is like scanning the seafloor of the ocean, letting doctors see the eyes at an angle we couldn’t before.” -Dr. Collin Lee
