Dr. Michelle Chan earned her doctorate degree from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. Prior to optometry school, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley where she double majored in Molecular Cell Biology and Psychology. Dr. Chan completed optometric training at a diverse range of clinical settings including the Veterans Affairs Hospitals at American Lake and Livermore, Travis Air Force Base, and the Eastmont Wellness Clinic.
Dr. Chan is a Bay Area native and is excited to return and serve her hometown. She is trained to practice full scope primary eye care including the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Dr. Chan is passionate about myopia control and enjoys providing individualized care to patients of all ages.
During her free time, you can find Dr. Chan rock climbing, swimming, painting, or trying new restaurants/cafes with her family and friends!
