Dr. Stella Ma completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with honors as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Ma received her clinical training at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System, Stanford Byers Eye Institute, and Kaiser Permanente Daly City.
Dr. Ma practices full scope optometric care and is a therapeutic and glaucoma-certified optometrist. Her interests include contact lenses, low vision, diabetes, and glaucoma. During her time at Berkeley, she traveled to Nicaragua on a medical mission trip to provide eye exams for those in need. She plans to continue to help underserved populations by participating in mission trips in the future.
Dr. Ma is dedicated to providing excellent, personalized care in order to enhance the quality of life of each of her patients. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Ma enjoys traveling abroad, watching documentaries, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
